Leucistic Dragon

An entry I submitted for ArtOrder's Tiny Dragons book towards the end of last year. Didn't make it in unfortunately, but I enjoyed painting this colourful guy. Took inspiration from komodo dragons and their heavy skins, and an image of a leucistic peacock with pretty patches of white and blue. The square format was interesting to work with. I really wanted to try to nail the values for this one, painting it in greyscale originally and then adding colour.
